Taradake Prefectural Park is a home of mountains over 1000m
alt. Sakai River originates in Taradake mountains and its
upstream, "Todoroki Torrent", is full of fine waterfalls
and distinctly-shaped rocks.
Each waterfall has its unique feature of atmosphere, relatively
well known falls include "Waterfall of Todoroki",
"Waterfall of Yoryu(willow)", and "Waterfall
of Tairyu(dragon)".
A water-taking spot is facilitated nearby Waterfall of Todoroki,
enabling one to taste the pure spring water. Local residents
are taking active charge in preserving the local environment
and water quality.
