Daily volume of gushing spring water at 7 sources in former
Matsuo village area in Hachiman-Taira City at Iwate Mountain
foot exceeds 100 thousand tons.
Spring of Kanazawa Shimizu, the most well known among 7 spots,
is located in a municipally-controlled forest, and its spring
water is not only a source of all tap waters in former village
but also fully utilized for aquaculture and irrigation purposes.

station on JR Tohoku Shinkansen Bullet Train Line, drop at
"Higashi Hachiman Taira Kotsu Center" stop, then
